The "Shabat preparation" tour journey through 300 years of history. It's a journey that focuses on customs that have been preserved for hundreds of years without change, while the outside world changed dramatically

 

For hundreds of years the Ultra-Orthodox Jewish community preserved a unique way of welcoming "SHABAT" - the day of relaxing and praying to God. 

 

Not only is working of any kind is forbidden on "SHABAT" cooking or baking is forbidden too, It makes the preparations more complicated and interesting


BNEI BRAK is the biggest and the most crowded Ultra-Orthodox city, On Friday you can feel the "SHBAT" preparations in the air.

The tour starts on Friday morning and takes about 2-3 hours
